Mission Statement

The mission of Beecher-Dunbar-Pembine is to create a comprehensive educational environment for students and staff which will produce life-long learners equipped to succeed in a local and global society.

Core Beliefs-

1. We value all students and believe they should have the opportunity to learn.

2. We believe students have the right to a student-focused, inviting, safe, and nurturing learning environment that is enhanced by their own experiences and knowledge.

3. We believe in continuous improvement in our pursuit of excellence by cultivating high expectations, mutual respect, and encouragement. 

4. We believe in equity and fairness for all students’ social, emotional, and academic needs.

5. We believe that education is a vital investment in every child’s life, and requires a collaborative partnership with students, parents, teachers, staff, businesses, and the community.

6. We believe that all students need access to technology and need to develop future ready skills.

7.  We believe that encouraging extracurricular participation in academics, performing arts, athletics, and service opportunities enhance and balance the students’ learning.

8. We believe that a challenging, diverse, and relevant curriculum requires decision making from assessments and observations.
